Edgar Martinez

My name is Edgar Salazar Martinez and I create art that is heavily influenced by my insecurities and opposing principles. I love making art that uses juxtaposition as the main theme like chaos and structure, hollow yet emotional, anger and sadness. These are just some of the topics that I love diving deep into. Bringing ideas that would never work together is the challenge that I love tackling in all my art pieces. My art pieces depict my struggle with finding who I really am and who I want to be. Each new piece teaches me about who I am but leaves me with even more questions than before.

I am a first generation college graduate from Washington State University. 

Edgar is located in the Pacific Northwest where his love for  culture and cuisine grew. Edgar is a designer and 3d artist who plans on using his art in collaboration with local businesses and the community.
